Yay for happy things. I referenced some traditional dutch clothing, but unfortunately mostly female clothing is the most distinctive. Men usually wore different outfits depending on what province they were from... though they generally all consisted of some sort of pant/suspender combo and a hat (which was the main thing that varied).
And I suppose Van Gogh snuck in my brain and made me subconsciously paint wind swirlies...
